Board Effectiveness

Board Effectiveness

Our Board Effectiveness efforts includes resources, tools and training for those involved in board service. Forums and workshops are designed to bring board members together to learn from experts in their field and to learn from each other.

If you are a board member serving a nonprofit whose address as filed with the IRS is within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region service area and would like to receive invitations to our board training events, please register with NonprofitNext Fox Valley. It’s free to register.

Our current programs for board training include Board Chair/Vice Chair small group round tables, Leadership Forums and the Board Academy.

Nonprofit Board Academy

“You cannot change any society unless you take responsibility for it, unless you see yourself as belonging to it and responsible for changing it.” – Grace Lee Boggs

The Board Academy is a program of Nonprofit Leadership Initiative and is offered in partnership with the Leadership Fox Cities Alumni Association.

It is designed to engage, educate, prepare, and inspire participants to meet the demand for 21st century nonprofit board
