Nonprofit Leadership Initiative (NPLI) is a program of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and utilizes the Community Foundation’s professional services and staff.
The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is a program within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region (“Community Foundation”) and follows the policies set forth by the Community Foundation.
The refund policy of the Community Foundation states:
“We advise all donors and participants to exercise care and diligence while making contributions or payments. All contributions and payments to the Community Foundation and its programs, affiliates, and supporting organizations (“Foundation”) are considered non-refundable and irrevocable.
Exceptions are extremely rare and are at the discretion of the Foundation. If an exception is granted, funds will be returned via check or electronic payment, less any processing fees. The donor/customer is responsible for all tax considerations that may arise if a contribution or payment is refunded.”
While NPLI generally follows this policy, our published refund policy pertaining to Leadership Institute, BoardBound, and Financial Leadership programs will supersede this policy. Please contact NPLI with any questions.
The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is a program within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and therefore serves the same geographic area. Our service region includes Calumet, Outagamie, Shawano, and Waupaca Counties, and the Neenah/Menasha area of Winnebago County.
If your nonprofit organization’s IRS mailing address is outside of this service area, a higher participant fee for programs and services will apply. Additionally, acceptance to programming is based on space availability, with priority given to nonprofit organizations within our service region.
If your organization has a physical location within our service area, you may be eligible for the standard in-region rate. Please contact NPLI directly with questions.
NPLI is a fiscally sponsored program of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region within the Community Engagement department. A donation to NPLI connects nonprofit organizations and their leaders to educational training, resources, and support needed to move their organizations and the communities they serve forward.
If you would like to support NPLI, you may click the ‘Donate’ button found at the top of your screen, or if you would like to send a check instead, mail to “Nonprofit Leadership Initiative – Community Foundation – 4455 W Lawrence St., Appleton, WI 54914”.
If you have additional questions about donating, please contact Hope Schaefer, NPLI Executive Director, at 920-393-3887 or email hschaefer@npleadershipfv.org.
